Ellis Farms

Ellis Farms is owned and operated by Rick and Audra Ellis in Lincolnton, NC on part of the original Ellis Farm that has been in the Ellis family for over 100 years. They specialize in pasture raised pork and sorghum syrup/molasses. They also have a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. They are the last family in Lincoln County that still makes molasses. Outside of the farm, Audra is a Social Worker for the Blind for the Division of Services for the Blind as well as an Adjunct Instructor at a community college, while Rick drives a log truck for the family logging business owned by his cousin. They have two adult children. You'll find them most weekends selling at local farmers markets or supporting their youngest daughter who is in the marching band at Western Carolina University.
